Well this is what I needed to get me going through the basics. I got Halion for the first time last December and dived straight into overwhelm. I’ve muddled through but this video has given just what I needed to break down some of the confusion. This is a basic tut especially for first timers. Very much looking forward to seeing much more in-depth vids on this great plugin.

I enjoyed the series, it was a good introduction to a complicated program - the instructor presented it in a easy to understand manor . This should be enough to get anybody started having explained program structures etc. Please create more in depth Halion content as this only scratches the surface. Many thanks!

Helpful, but not nearly as in-depth as I hoped. I was really looking for details on importing programs into Halion from other formats like Akai, E-mu, or Reason, but this series didn't even mention it.

I'm very sorry you only found the tutorial to be a 2. 5 rating. This is the 'Getting Started' portion of the Know-How series for Halion 6. I've had Halion 6 for a while. At first, as many will say, the UI is overwhelming. I've been able to slog through it, but this video course unveils all the basic functionality REQUIRED for using Halion 6. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I would LOVE to see more Halion 6 video courses by this presenter. Especially creating new libraries using existing sample sets.
